What is Technical Matric N3
Technical Matric N3 is a matric equivalent National Senior Certificate offered by the Department of Higher Education and Training. The certificate is accredited by Umalusi and accepted at certain universities.
Requirements for N3 Technical Matric
Technical Matric National Senior Certificate requires six subjects of which two of those subjects are Business English and Sake Afrikaans. The two languages are compulsory and please note that only English and Afrikaans are offered and no other language is offered in this Senior Certificate. Also please note that the two languages are only written in November in the third trimester and are offered only once per year.
How to complete your N3 Technical Matric
To complete your N3 Technical Matric National Senior Certificate you need to do six subjects in which four are of your choice plus adding Sake Afrikaans and Business English. These subjects are written three times in a year which is March/April, July/August and November exams.
Business English and Sake Afrikaans languages open book exams
The two N3 languages are open book exams and candidates are allowed to bring five sources of books which includes textbooks and dictionaries. It is also important note that you need to get a variety of sources apart from your textbook in order to get enough information for your exam.
Sake Afrikaans and Business English online registrations
N3 languages can also be studied through online learning. This means that you can study these subjects through distance learning. Students who study through distance learning are assisted with textbooks and exam study materials. Registering early helps one to study early and prepare for exams enough and be ready for the exams way long.
